I'm Jen!

Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Is there anything better in the Summer than a country music festival? After going to Tortuga Music Festival last April on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL with my friend Maria, I was dying to get to Faster Horses Festival out at MIS in Brooklyn.

Last Saturday I got to photograph the Blake Shelton concert at The Palace of Auburn Hills! It was my first time seeing Blake in concert, and even though I only got to hear his first four songs, it was one heck of a show opening!

There is nothing I enjoy more than live music (you can see my concert photography here). I’ve always loved going to concerts, but living in Southern California for 4 years took it to the next level. Every major act came through, some even playing multiple nights, and there were also lots of big artists playing free events around town.

Sam Hunt | Grand Rapids, MI Concert Photography

Sam Hunt is one of the hottest rising stars in the country world right now. His sound is so unique, his lyrics are top notch and it doesn’t hurt that he is a gorgeous former college football player either… *wink,wink* He played to a sold out crowd in Grand Rapids last month at The Intersection for his Lipstick Graffiti Tour and I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph him live in concert!
