Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I know it’s been a few weeks friends, but have no fear, because the Friday Five is back this week! I’m still working on a blog post recapping my recent Southwestern US National Parks hiking road trip extravaganza, but I thought it would be fun today to share my five of my favorite photos from the trip in time for National Park Week!!
Sam and Peter’s Yards Park engagement session was an absolute dream! When Sam and I were brainstorming locations for their Washington, D.C. engagement photos, she mentioned this park and it was perfect! I loved the architecture of the bridge, the greenery and the waterfront.
Back in March of this year, before the crazy business of wedding season kicked off, I headed down to Charleston, South Carolina for two days! It was my first time visiting the South and it did not disappoint. Charleston was unbelievably gorgeous.
My sister and I started a new tradition this past year to celebrate our birthday’s as they’re only a day apart! We decided we would go somewhere to celebrate and have an experience verse buying each other gifts. This year we chose to spend a long weekend in Chicago and it did not disappoint!
