Maddie and David met when they both worked at Fox Hills in Plymouth and on Saturday it all came full circle as they celebrated day one of their marriage there surrounded by their dearest family and friends! The sun was shining as Maddie walked up to David for their first look and when they saw each other for the first time all dressed up on their wedding day, the smiles on their faces said it all! After taking photos on the streets of Downtown Northville, it was time to head to St. Michael’s in Livonia and get these two married before continuing on to Fox Hills to begin the celebration! One of my favorite moments of the day was when everyone started welling up when Maddie put her dress on (me included… I swear as soon as I see someone else start to tear up, my eyes just can’t help themselves from crying too) and then at the reception during the speech that David’s Best Man, Charlie, gave. He said that when he first asked David how he felt about Maddie when they were dating, he said he loved her more than anyone else in his life and that’s when he knew his friend had found the one. I thought that was the sweetest thing and there were definitely some tears in my eyes once again as I hid behind my camera!
It was so evident during the day how much these two love each other! The way David would look at Maddie and hold her close, the way she would look up at him and laugh and how he picked up and carried her train so she could walk were all so sweet! They were also surrounded by so much love from their family and friends. They also had the most adorable the flower girls and ring bearers! I could not stop taking photos of them! Just wait until you see how cute they were!
At the end of the night, David pulled me aside and thanked me for coming and let me know how much Maddie was looking forward to me photographing their wedding. I thought that was so sweet of him to say and honestly, I feel like I was the lucky one who got to document their love story on their wedding day for them to cherish forever. Maddie and David, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to photograph your wedding and more importantly, the first day of your marriage!
