A few weeks ago I met up with Jackie and Dwight at the Belle Isle Casino for their Detroit engagement photos!! It was a chilly day out & the wind was crazy, but these two didn’t let that phase them at all!!

Sarah & Brian’s engagement session was SO good!!! We started downtown at one of my favorite geometric structures that was just the perfect backdrop for Sarah’s beautiful, flowy cranberry hued gown. The slit in the dress was perfect for getting some movement in it & added a bit fo drama & magic to their photos!!

So excited to share Leanne & Connor’s engagement photos on the blog today!! Leanne & I first met a few years ago when we both coached a Girls on the Run team together in Ann Arbor!! I remember her telling me at dinner one night that year that she wanted me to photograph her wedding one day and a few years later when Connor proposed, I was so honored when she officially asked me to photograph her big day!!

We had the most perfect fall afternoon for Kathryn & Blaise’s engagement session last month! The sun was peeking in & out of the clouds and made the trees glow at her parents’ beautiful property on the water! The photos we captured on their back patio with the evergreens & the lake in the back reminded me so much of being at a lodge on Lake Tahoe!
