Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

YOU GUYS, I have some exciting news to share today that’s been under wraps for the past few months! One of the weddings I photographed last Summer, Asad and Michelle’s gorgeous Indian wedding, has a three page spread in the Spring/Summer 2017 The Knot Michigan magazine!
Oh Jessica and Eric, where do I even begin?! I had a blast with these two at their engagement session in Oabrook, IL, right outside of Chicago a few weeks ago! Jessica is one of those people with an infectious laugh and a smile that lights up the whole room and Eric knew how to keep her laughing!
All week the forecast called for thunder storms and rain the day of Rachel and Peter’s Traverse City wedding on Old Mission Peninsula at Mission Table. The forecast kept getting a bit better each day with the chance of rain going down.
Well you guys, I did it! I took the ultimate chance, a chance on believing in myself and this amazing brand I’m building. This week marked my last day at my full-time job!! CUE THE CONFETTI AND ALL. THE. CHAMPAGNE! I’ve been pretty quiet on here about it, but if you didn’t know I’ve also been a producer at an awesome digital marketing agency since I moved back from California.
