Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I met up with Angie & Cameron recently in their hometown for their Chicago engagement session! Angie picked the Field Museum and it was such a perfect backdrop for their photos. Not only is it built from the most beautiful marble and has gorgeous sprawling front & back steps that reminded me of the MET, but it also sits right on the water, making it the perfect spot to get a mix of classic architecture & the Chicago skyline with Lake Michigan in front of it!
I was so excited when Markie reached out to me last year about photographing her wedding day! Markie was a bridesmaid in Laura & Daniel’s wedding two years ago in Downtown Cleveland and her and Josh were getting married just outside the city at Mapleside Farms.
Lovett Hall is one of my all-time favorite wedding venues and I had been looking forward to Becca & Danny’s wedding forever! Becca is the sweetest person ever and I have enjoyed getting to know her & Danny over the past year!
I know I say this ALL.THE. TIME. but I have the most wonderful couples ever that choose me to document their day. They are all so classic and timeless and joyful and it makes me so happy that I get to spend one of the best days of their lives with them!
I love it when you come across something that reminds you just how small this world really is and how some things are just destined to be. Katie and Peter both attended the University of Michigan (YAY, Go Blue ??!!!) at the same time.
