So excited to share more beautiful Detroit engagement photos on the blog tonight!! I met up with Renee and Michael two weeks ago to capture their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement photos on the museum’s beautiful marble steps! Renee dressed for the season with the most festive red pleated dress tied with a perfect black velvet bow and the coziest shawl on top to keep her toasty warm!

I don’t even know where to start with Stephanie & Chris’ Shinola Hotel wedding engagement photos!!! So much elevated, sophisticated, editorial goodness!!! Stephanie has such great style & when she emailed me a photo of the dress she was considering for her & Chris’s engagement session & asked if I thought if it was too much, I told her she should definitely go for it – it was too good & perfect for the session!!!

A few weeks ago I met up with Jackie and Dwight at the Belle Isle Casino for their Detroit engagement photos!! It was a chilly day out & the wind was crazy, but these two didn’t let that phase them at all!!

Sarah & Brian’s engagement session was SO good!!! We started downtown at one of my favorite geometric structures that was just the perfect backdrop for Sarah’s beautiful, flowy cranberry hued gown. The slit in the dress was perfect for getting some movement in it & added a bit fo drama & magic to their photos!!

So excited to share Leanne & Connor’s engagement photos on the blog today!! Leanne & I first met a few years ago when we both coached a Girls on the Run team together in Ann Arbor!! I remember her telling me at dinner one night that year that she wanted me to photograph her wedding one day and a few years later when Connor proposed, I was so honored when she officially asked me to photograph her big day!!
