Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Ashton & Hunter’s engagement session at the Detroit Institute of Arts was next level!! When we first met for their initial wedding consult I remembered thinking Ashton had such great style & I was excited to see what she was going to wear to her engagement session.

Happy Monday!! So excited to share Jackie & Allen’s engagement session on the blog today!! We were able to squeeze in their engagement session when they were back in Michigan earlier this month visiting from their new home in Los Angeles.
I met up with Rachael & Dennis a few weeks ago for their engagement session & it felt like we were transported to the Secret Garden (was anyone else obsessed with that movie when they were younger?). The grounds of the Ford Fair Lane House in Dearborn were stunning and with the sun setting, it provided the prettiest glow!!
Julia & Jacob had to postpone their June Henry Ford Museum wedding due to the pandemic, but asked me to still photograph their intimate ceremony on their original wedding date! They chose a beautiful outdoor spot at Fox Hills in Plymouth to hold the ceremony and even though the forecast was threatening rain, it held off long enough for them to say I do!!
Jenny & Mitch were married on a Thursday evening a few weeks ago on a beautiful rooftop in Detroit surrounded by their immediate families! Jenny’s father walked her down the aisle to a waiting Mitch and after they exchanged their vows and rings, they were pronounced husband and wife!
