Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I met up with Alex & Kyle last month for their engagement session! I have known Alex since she was in grade school and even coached her cheerleading team way back then!! I was so excited when she reached out last year after Kyle proposed to her about photographing her wedding!!!
Sam & Marina’s wedding day started downtown at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center! Marina’s mom and sister helped her into her beautiful beaded mermaid dress from Allesandra Bridal and Sam’s dad and future brother-in-law helped him into his tux and straightened his bow-tie.
Allison & Scott are getting married this weekend & we were able to squeeze their engagement session in beforehand just in the nick of time!! The James Scott Memorial Fountain served as such a beautiful backdrop and the sun setting behind it gave us the prettiest light for their photos!!
I don’t even know where to begin with this one other than to say Abby & Mike’s Planterra Conservatory wedding was amazing in every way possible! Abby & Mike met while in school at Michigan State and even though they now live in Chicago, they headed back to their home state to exchange vows in front of all of their family and friends!
Lauren & John’s love story was a long time in the making. They were engaged for four years and a few weekends ago, they were pronounced husband and wife in the outdoor garden at Lovett Hall! Lauren’s dad walked her down the aisle to John, who wiped tears from his eyes throughout the ceremony.
There’s just something so magical about Central Park. It’s my absolute favorite part of New York City and it truly is amazing how peaceful and zen the entire park is when the hustle and bustle and skyscrapers of NY surround it.
