I met up with Gaby & Chad recently for their Downtown Detroit engagement session. I previously photographed Gaby’s friend Lisa’s wedding and was so excited when she reached out to me about photographing her wedding to Chad. Our original plan was to go to the fountain on Belle Isle for their engagement photos, but the Grand Prix had shut down access to it, so we ended up at one of my favorite spots, the Detroit Institute of Arts instead!

I met up with Kristen & Ethan last week for their engagement photos. Rain was in the forecast and after moving around our start time a bit to try and time it for when it was supposed to stop, the drizzle thankfully cleared up 15 minutes into their session!!

Olompia & Alex met through mutual friends. Olompia liked Alex, Alex liked Olompia, and the rest was history. I met up with the two of them at the Detroit Institute of Arts for their engagement session and we had the entire Rivera Court to ourselves!

Savannah and Madison met in college when they both attended Michigan State. Madison asked Savannah out for coffee and she agreed. She later found out he didn’t even like coffee, but that first date was a good one and led to a second and many more after that.

I was so excited to meet up with Lauren & John recently in Detroit to take their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement photos! John was actually a groomsman in Curtis & Laura’s wedding last year at Lovett Hall and I’m so excited to photograph their Lovett Hall wedding next June!

I met up with Laura & Anu last week for their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement session and we had the most beautiful light & glowy orange sunset. These two have great style & were impeccibly dressed (I was swooning over Laura’s Saint Laurent heels), but they also have the sweetest and fun loving relationship and I think the photos we captured do that justice!
