Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

I first met Maureen at a Jonas Brothers meet & greet (seriously, lol) when she was in line behind me. I turned around and asked her to take a photo of me with them & we became Facebook friends after. I was so excited a few months ago when she reached out to me about photographing her & Josh’s Dearborn Inn wedding next June!
Jillian and Steve were married this past Friday at one of my favorite Metro Detroit wedding venues, The Inn at St. John’s. From the moment I first met Jillian and we bonded over our love of Taylor Swift (she even had it playing the morning of her wedding) and she showed me photos of her stunning dress, I knew she was my kind of bride and have been looking forward to photographing her and Steve’s wedding day for the last 6 months!
I was so excited when I got an email last year from Hannah telling me that she was engaged and asking me to head back down to Cleveland to photograph her wedding. Two years ago, I had the honor of photographing her brother & now sister-in-law’s Windows on the River Cleveland wedding and I was so excited to get to see Laura & Daniel again and get to photograph another Maxwell wedding!
I met up with Sam and Billy last week to take their University of Michigan Law Quad engagement photos in Ann Arbor. The Law Quad is one of my favorite spaces to take photographs at in Ann Arbor because the architecture is just stunning with the gothic brick and intricate arches.
I still remember the first time I met Laura & Paul in a coffee shop and they told me all about their love story. They were best friends through the first three years of high school, and by senior year, that turned into high school sweethearts!
I’m so excited to share this engagement session on the blog today! Stephanie is one of my former coworkers and we were on the same team together for a few years & even got to work on a few projects together!
