Most days you'll find me sitting at my kitchen counter, clad in a mix of J.Crew and Zara (in neutral colors, of course), pouring my heart into this business of mine while dancing along to my latest Spotify playlist and sipping on a cup of hot tea. I'm an award-winning, published wedding photographer that is obsessed with all things classic and elegant. I'm a former California girl, but a true Midwesterner at heart. I love warm hugs, live music and getting texts from my brides that they cried when they saw their wedding photos!! I live for mornings on my yoga mat and green juice after. Among friends, I'm known for never missing an episode of The Bachelor on Monday nights, overusing exclamation points, and disliking coffee (but loving coffee shops)!

Stefanie & Matt were married in Ann Arbor a few weeks ago surrounded by their closest family & friends. Stephanie is from Brazil & her family still lives there and was unable to travel to the United States for their wedding due to the pandemic, so Matt’s dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle!
A modern day Cinderella story!! I met up recently with Jessica & Julian for their Detroit Institute of Arts engagement photos!! Jessica knew the exact location & look she wanted for her engagement session & it all came together perfectly!! I absolutely loved the modern twist on a classic ball gown that Jessica created by pairing a full baby blue Disney princess-esque skirt with a sleek black fitted top!
Katie & AJ had an intimate rooftop Downtown Market Grand Rapids wedding this past September with their closest family & friends! Katie & AJ had to change wedding plans not once, not twice, but FOUR times due to covid. I’ll never forget the phone call I received from Katie when her plan B fell through and her venue cancelled all remaining 2020 weddings there, including hers.
We had the most beautiful glowy sunset light for Meghan & Brendan’s engagement photos recently! The area where we took them gave me major Parisian engagement photo vibes: the color of the stone, the architecture style of the curved building with the top floor window bump outs, the street lights, the warm sunset light & the climbing ivy!
Kim & Steve had their first date in downtown Northville, got engaged in downtown Northville & when their Lovett Hall wedding was postponed earlier this year to 2021, it only made sense for them when they decided to still get married this year & pivot their plans to have their intimate wedding in downtown Northville as well!
I met up with Lauren & Josh recently for their engagement photos!! Lauren & Josh both teach skiing at Pine Knob and spend a lot of time in winter there, so it made perfect sense to document their engagement photos in a place so special to them!!
