I met up with Matt & Nancy at the start of the month for their Chicago History Museum engagement photos. The forecast called for rain, but we ended up having a beautiful, clear fall morning for their session and the leaves were definitely showing off in Chicago! Nancy actually works in the wedding industry herself as a calligrapher and I was so excited when she reached out to me about photographing her and Matt’s wedding! They brought their sweet pup along for some photos as well and we ended the session with the short walk from the Chicago History Museum to Lake Shore Drive to capture the skyline behind them! It was so windy by the water (you have to see the waves) and was drizzling by this point, but Nancy & Matt went with it, just laughing and having fun with each other as Nancy’s hair whipped all around! Those candid, go with the flow moments are always my favorite to capture!! Nancy and Matt are so adorable together & two of the kindest people and I can’t wait to hang out with them again and capture their Kimpton Gray Hotel wedding in the heart of Chicago next September!
