Megan & Tommy met in high school, but it wasn’t until about 5 years ago that they reconnected and their love story began! This past Summer they were vacationing in the Canadian Rockies (which have the most amazing mountain views I’ve ever seen, btw, so if you haven’t gone, GO!!! The drive from BC to Alberta through them is insane!!) and Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Megan! I was so excited when I got the inquiry email from Megan letting me know that Tommy’s cousin was actually one of my past brides! I photographed Chelsea & Kevin‘s wedding back in 2016 & I’m so excited to photograph another wedding in their family!! I met up with Megan & Tommy in early October at the Detroit Institute of Arts for their engagement session and Megan wore the most amazing long lilac dress!!! I was just a tad obsessed with the ruffles on it!! These two were so amazing to work with & the way they’re looking at each other in the photos is giving me all the heart eyes!! I’m so excited for their Atheneum Suite Hotel wedding next September and to get these two back in front of my camera!
