Lauren & Dan are the cutest couple and I had so much fun with them capturing their engagement photos in Ann Arbor a couple weeks ago. They are friends with a few of my other past & current couples and I was so excited when Lauren reached out to me about taking their engagement photos before their destination wedding in Mexico next spring. Lauren wore the prettiest gold slip dress and gorgeous blue suede heels to the session and I love the way the colors complemented the beautiful Law Quad at Michigan. Rain was threatening in the forecast, but we were able to have 20+ minutes of beautiful weather before the skies opened up & a steady drizzle came down! Lauren wasn’t fazed at all and went with the flow and of course, the photos of them under the umbrella in the rain are some of my favorites from the session!! Luckily the rain stayed at a steady drizzle and it didn’t pour! We ducked around campus to a few covered places before the rain stopped and we could finish the session umbrella free!
